I created this painting in the beginning of 2020. I was inspired by the events that took place at the beginning of the lockdown when people where rushing to buy toilette paper. I combined by my silly sense of humor with a serious study of “The Girl with a Pearl Earring” by Vermeer. This was the first painting where I experimented using oil paint over acrylic.
